CLEARWATER, FL – The hit-and-run driver who injured two motorcyclists on State Route 590 last Friday was located and charged the following morning.

According to Bay News 9, 47-year-old Paula G. Rowe struck two motorcyclists on State Route 590 at Lucas Drive at about 8:30 p.m. on September 25, then fled the crash scene. She confessed to the crime the following day.
Clearwater Police Department posted on Twitter she will be booked into the Pinellas County Jail. She faces two counts of leaving the scene of a crash with injury.
One injured motorcyclist was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg remains in critical condition.
