ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Police have released additional information regarding a deadly hit-and-run crash in St. Petersburg, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
This is an update to a previous story.
St. Petersburg police have now identified the victim as 40-year-old Douglas Clark Harry Hoover of Largo. He was struck and killed by a pickup truck Saturday on the 6400 block of 38th Avenue N.
Police said the driver of the pickup fled the scene onto 66th Street N but turned himself in later in the day. Police have identified him as 23-year-old Jerrod Scott Holle of Pinellas Park.
Anyone with further information about the incident was asked to contact St. Petersburg traffic investigators.
