TAMPA, FL – Police say a woman leaving a festival in Tampa Saturday night was struck by a car and injured, reports WFLA.
The accident happened as the woman was crossing Himes Avenue following the Sunset Music Festival near Raymond James Stadium. She was hit by a Nissan Versa near West Ohio Avenue, police said.
The woman sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening, and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene after the incident and was said to be cooperating with investigators.
