
SPRING HILL, FL – According to the Tampa Bay Times, a fatal motorcycle accident was reported on Mariner Blvd near Casa Grande Circle Sunday.
The 58-year-old male motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet as he was heading south on Mariner Blvd. He struck a stormwater drain as he approached the intersection with Casa Grande Circle. The impact caused his vehicle to overturn and travel into the northbound lanes, where he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
First responders were dispatched to the crash site around 12:30 a.m. They pronounced the victim dead at the scene
