Motorcyclist fatally strikes truck at Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd and Tanner Rd

DOVER, FL – A motorcyclist died at the scene after striking the rear of a tow truck at Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd and Tanner Rd Friday, Yahoo reports.

The motorcyclist, an unidentified 64-year-old man, was riding on eastbound Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd behind a tow truck. The motorcyclist slammed into the back of the truck as it was slowing down to make a left turn onto Tanner Rd.

First responders were dispatched to the crash site around 10:45 a.m. and pronounced the rider dead.

Authorities have not released the name of the motorcyclist.
