
TAMPA, FL – A single-vehicle collision on Causeway Blvd near 22nd St claimed the life of one man and sent a woman to the hospital Tuesday.
According to Tampa Bay Times, the 26-year-old male driver of a Chevrolet Camaro struck a metal guard rail and a cement wall.
Dispatchers received calls concerning the collision at 1:02 a.m. They sent first responders to the scene. EMS crews transported the driver and his 24-year-old female passenger to an area hospital. The driver was pronounced dead at the hospital. The passenger was admitted in stable condition.
Police are investigating the crash.
