WESTCHASE, FL – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that it was on the scene of a fatal single-vehicle accident in Westchase Monday morning.
The rollover crash happened in the area of Sheldon Road and Westwind Drive in Westchase, and was reported at about 5:35 a.m. Authorities did not release the identity of the person who was killed.
Sheldon Road was closed to southbound traffic after the incident, with one lane getting by on the northbound side. Drivers were asked to find an alternate route during their morning commute.
All lanes were reopened several hours later.
