HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – Drivers in Hillsborough County faced delays during rush hour Tuesday morning after two separate crashes, reports WFLA.
The first accident took place in the vicinity of Interstate 4 and 22nd Street in Tampa at about 6 a.m., and shut down the westbound ramp from 22nd Street to I-4. Drivers were advised to use 50th Street or U.S. 41 as alternate routes.
That was followed by another crash on I-4 west near the exit for Branch Forbes Road. The left lane and outside right lane were blocked near the scene, causing further delays in both directions.
There was no immediate information on whether anyone was injured in either incident.
