
SARASOTA, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly multi-vehicle accident that occurred near Sarasota Bradenton International Airport Monday night, according to WWSB.
State troopers said it happened after a driver pulled out of a parking lot and was making a right turn onto U.S. 41 near Seagate Drive at about 7:30 p.m. As it turned, the vehicle was hit by two other vehicles.
Two people in the vehicle that pulled out of the lot sustained fatal injuries. The FHP said the victims were a 77-year-old woman from Fort Mitchell, Kentucky and a 79-year-old man from Erlanger, Kentucky. Five other people were injured in the wreck.
