
ODESSA, FL – Two drivers were killed when their vehicles collided in Pasco County Tuesday afternoon, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
According to Fox 13 News , the incident happened at the intersection of State Road 54 and Altamont Lane in Odessa.
Investigators say the motorcycle was speeding on State Road 54 east shortly after noon when it crashed into the side of the SUV as it pulled out from a stop sign to make a left turn.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a 21-year-old man from Wesley Chapel. The driver of the SUV was a 20-year-old Odessa man who died at an area hospital. Authorities have not yet released the names of the two victims.
