The Florida Highway Patrol said it happened when a driver tried to change lanes while headed south on I-75 near Proctor Road. The car collided with another vehicle, causing it to overturn and end up in the northbound lanes of I-75. Debris from the second vehicle then hit a third car, troopers said.
Two people who were in the second car were hospitalized with serious injuries.
