
BRADENTON, FL – Florida state troopers are investigating an accident that killed a pedestrian in Bradenton Tuesday night.
According to ABC Action News, the victim was trying to walk across lanes of State Road 70 in the area of Lakewood Ranch Boulevard when she was struck by a car at about 8:30 p.m.
The Florida State Patrol says the pedestrian, a 52-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not yet been released. No information was released about the vehicle or the driver involved.
