
ST. PETERSBURG, FL – An elderly man succumbed to his injuries two days after a major collision in St. Petersburgh last Thursday.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, the crash took place at about 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of 34th Street North and Fifth Avenue North.
Police say Carolyn Kiefer, 84, was making the left turn when her vehicle was truck by a Toyota heading south on 35th Ave.
Both the driver and her passenger, 95-year-old Robert Kiefer, were rushed to a local hospital. Robert succumbed to his injuries two days later.
It is unclear at this time if anyone in the Toyota was hurt.
