
ST. PETERSBURG, FL – The bicyclist who a hit-and-run driver struck on the 7800 block of 38th Ave N Sunday died Tuesday.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, the driver of a Nissan Xterra struck Carl Budinsky, 45, from behind as he was riding an electronic bicycle.
First responders were called to the scene around 4:30 a.m. They transported Budinsky to an area hospital, where he later died.
Police are on the lookout for the suspect’s vehicle, which has damage to the front right side.
