
BROOKSVILLE, FL – Authorities said a woman died in a car crash on a street in Brooksville Tuesday morning, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
The woman was driving south on Andrew Lane in the area of Farran Street when the accident occurred at about 6:20 a.m. The Florida Highway Patrol said the driver lost control and the vehicle crashed into a tree, then overturned.
The victim was a 68-year-old Brooksville resident whose name has not yet been released. No further details were released on what may have led to the crash.
