CLEARWATER, FL – A car crashed through the front doors of a bank in Clearwater Monday afternoon, Fox 13 News reports.
The Clearwater Fire and Rescue Department was on the scene of the incident of a Chase bank at 2471 SR-580. The vehicle, a red Hyundai, ended up in the lobby of the building after officials said the driver mistakenly hit the wrong pedal.
Two women, ages 51 and 29, were inside the car at the time but only minor injuries were reported. No one else was hurt in the crash.
