
TAMPA, FL – Two car accidents and a car fire caused a major traffic jam on Northbound I-275 on Friday afternoon.
According to Florida Highway Patrol’s traffic feed, the crashes and fire happened between 2:34 p.m. and 3:58 p.m. between mile markers 32 and 34 on the Howard Frankland Bridge.
Injuries were reported in one of the crashes. It is unclear what caused the crashes or car fire.
10 Tampa Bay reported there was up to a 23 minute delay on I-275 due to the incidents.
