Crash shuts down lanes on I-75 at Bee Ridge Road, injuries reported

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL – A multi-vehicle crash affected traffic on Interstate 75 in Sarasota County Wednesday night, according to WFTX.

The accident involved three vehicles, and occurred on I-75 southbound at Bee Ridge Road. Minor injuries were reported.

The Florida Highway Patrol and the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. The center and left on I-75 south were shut down while the wreck was being cleared.

All lanes were reported to have reopened by 9:15 p.m.
