PINELLAS PARK, FL – Police say a driver was cited for a violation following a crash in Pinellas Park Tuesday morning that injured a moped rider.
This is an update to a previous story.
According to Fox 13 News, the driver of a Nissan violated the right of way of the moped rider in the accident that occurred at around 6:30 a.m. Police say the driver was making a left turn from eastbound 62nd Avenue to 39th Street when the collision occurred.
The moped rider, 33-year-old Jared Hernandez, was hospitalized with serious injuries.
