Driver fatally collides with motorcyclist near Dove Hollow

PALM HARBOR, FL – According to WFLA, a driver fatally struck a motorcyclist at US 19 SB and Colonial Blvd Wednesday afternoon.

A 68-year-old man was driving a sedan when he turned left and into the path of a 26-year-old motorcyclist at around 1:30 p.m.

Rescue crews pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene of the accident.

The incident is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
