News: Driver fatally collides with pedestrian near New Tampa

TAMPA, FL – According to WFLA, a driver fatally struck a pedestrian on I-75 NB near Bruce B. Downs Blvd Saturday.

At around 7 a.m., a 23-year-old male pedestrian walked in front of a 51-year-old male driver. First responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The driver was uninjured.

Authorities have not released the names of those involved in the incident.
