
PALM HARBOR, FL – A driver fatally collided with an 11-year-old boy riding a bicycle on US 19 NB near Grand Cypress Blvd and US 19 Sunday, according to WFLA.
The 21-year-old driver of a pickup truck hauling a boat trailer was on northbound US 19 when they swerved onto the shoulder of the road to avoid colliding with another vehicle and hit the victim around 5:30 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died.
