LARGO, FL – A driver fatally collided with a pedestrian near 999 Missouri Ave Saturday, according to Tampa Bay Times.
The driver of a pickup truck was heading south on Missouri Ave N when they struck the victim as they were leaving Luke’s Sports Shack Bar & Grill and attempted to walk across the southbound lanes.
Dispatchers received calls concerning the collision around 10:51 and sent first responders to the crash site. They transported the victim to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police do not belive alcohol played a role in the incident.
