
WESLEY CHAPEL, FL – A woman was killed when her car crashed into a dump truck in Pasco County Thursday morning, WTSP reports.

Pasco County Fire Rescue responded to the scene at the intersection of SR-56 and Mansfield Boulevard in Wesley Chapel.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a 27-year-old woman lost control of her sedan while approaching the intersection and crashed into the dump truck.
The sedan spun out and hit a median, while the truck went into a ditch. The woman, whose name was not released, was declared dead at the scene. The truck driver was not seriously hurt.
The intersection was closed to traffic while the wreck was being cleared, and drivers were advised to avoid the area.
