Driver strikes, injures bicyclist on Pinellas Trail near 8th Ave SW

LARGO, FL – According to Fox 13, a driver seriously injured a bicyclist at Pinellas Trail and 8th Ave SW Saturday.

The driver of a Toyota Highlander hit the bicyclist as they entered eastbound 8th Ave SW around 12 p.m.

First responders transported the bicyclist to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The police are investigating the collision.
