ST PETERSBURG, FL – According to WTSP, a driver collided with a pedestrian on 5th Ave S Wednesday night.
The driver of a Hyundai sedan was driving east on 5th Ave when he hit a 60-year-old man wearing dark clothing crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk around 10:40 p.m.
First responders transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.
Police are investigating the collision.
