Driver strikes, kills pedestrian on US 41 near School Rd

LAND O’ LAKES, FL – According to WTSP, a driver fatally struck a woman pedestrian on US 41 north of School Rd Sunday.

The driver, a 20-year-old male, was driving south on US 41 when he collided with the pedestrian, who had walked into the path of his vehicle.

First responders were called to the crash site around 7 p.m. They pronounced the victim dead at the scene. 4

Authorities have notified the pedestrian’s next of kin of her death.
