PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – A driver was killed after losing control of his SUV in a crash in Pinellas County Friday night.
According to the Tampa Bay Reporter , the 33-year-old man was driving on Roosevelt Boulevard near Ulmerton Road when the incident occurred at about 6:40 p.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the driver was unable to negotiate a curve on Roosevelt Boulevard and ran off the roadway. As the man tried to regain control, the SUV overturned and he was ejected from the vehicle.
The man, a Dunedin resident, was later pronounced dead at an area hospital. Troopers said he was not wearing a seat belt.
