HUDSON, FL – A motorcyclist fatally struck another motorcyclist on southbound U.S. 19 near Meridian Blvd Monday, according to Tampa Bay Times.
The two motorcyclists were riding side and were making a left turn when one of them, a 60-year-old man, struck the other’s motorcycle, sending the rider into a curb and causing his bike to overturn. Neither rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
First responders were called to the scene of the wreck around 7:45. They transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The 60-year-old man was uninjured.
