
CLEARWATER, TX – Emergency crews responded to a driver trapped in a water-filled hole at Bay Cove by Arium Apartments Friday, according to WTSP.
According to police, the parking lot at the apartment complex was flooded when a construction crew ruptured a water line. The victim was not aware of how deep the water was and became trapped in the hole.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the accident around 4:20 p.m. They extricated the driver and then transported him to an area hospital.
