Hit-and-run collision leaves cyclist with serious injuries

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A cyclist was seriously injured by a hit-and-run driver in a St. Petersburg intersection on Wednesday morning.

St. Petersburg Police Department tweeted the hit-and-run collision happened at 22nd Ave. S and MLK St. S at around 10:23 a.m.

The cyclist sustained serious injuries. The cause of the crash is unknown, as is whether any charges will be filed.
