
TAMPA, FL – A hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a 61-year-old bicyclist at N 50th St and E 23rd Ave Sunday, according to WTSP.
Joel Weaver, 27, was driving a black sedan north on 50th St when he struck the victim near E 23rd Ave. Following the collision, Weaver fled the scene.
Authorities located Weaver’s sedan at River View Apartments and impounded it. Weaver turned himself in and was arrested for leaving the scene of the crash with death.
