PALM HARBOR, FL – An impaired driver fled the scene after fatally colliding with a pedestrian on S US 19 Saturday, according to WFLA.
Cheddy Herland Lewis, 33, hit the pedestrian, a 40-year-old male, as he was running across the highway sometime Saturday morning.
Officers located Lewis sometime later at Alderman Road and Belcher Road. Police arrested Lewis on a charge of DUI. Other charges are pending.
