
TAMPA, FL – Local authorities shut down several lanes of Eastbound I-4 due to a crash and car fire early Tuesday evening.
According to 10 Tampa Bay, the accident happened around 5:30 p.m on I-4 at U.S. Highway 301. Multiple eastbound lanes of I-4 were closed, which caused a significant traffic backup during rush hour.
It is unclear at this time how many vehicles were in the crash, or if there were any injuries.
