SPRING HILL, PA – Authorities say a man driving drunk was involved in a head-on crash in Hernando County Sunday morning, according to Fox 13 News.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a 31-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman were driving near the intersection of Country Road and Commercial Way when their vehicles collided head-on. The man was arrested on DUI charges after troopers said his blood alcohol content was over three times Florida’s legal limit.
The woman was issued a citation for driving southbound in the northbound lane of Commercial Way. The FHP said she was not familiar with the area and was relying on her GPS while driving. No information was released on whether any injuries resulted from the crash.
