
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – Troopers responded to a fatal accident on SR 60 near Smith Ryals Rd Monday, according to Tampa Bay Times.
The 30-year-old male driver of a pickup truck was on westbound SR 60 when lost control of his vehicle and strayed into the eastbound lanes of traffic before overturning around 3:24 p.m. He was ejected from the vehicle in the accident.
The victim was then struck by the 27-year-old driver of a box truck. First responders transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died.
Authorities have not released the names of either driver.
