
ST. PETERSBURG, FL – According to the Tampa Bay Times, a pedestrian died after being hit by a minivan driver on 34th St near 46th Ave Sunday.
The driver of a Chrysler Pacifica was heading south on 34th St when they hit the victim while crossing the street around 9 p.m.
First responders transported the pedestrian to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, where they died.
The driver remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated with the police following the collision.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
