
TAMPA, FL – Florida state troopers report a man was killed in a motorcycle accident Monday night in Hillsborough County.
According to the Tampa Bay Times , the motorcyclist lost control of the vehicle at about 9 p.m. while going south on the entrance ramp from U.S. 301 to Interstate 4 west. The motorcycle went off the road and overturned before crashing into a concrete barrier on an access road.
The 57-year-old motorcycle rider, a Tampa resident, was declared dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the man was not wearing a helmet at the time.
