Motorcyclist fatally collides with another vehicle near England Brothers Park

PINELLAS PARK, FL – A motorcyclist fatally collided with an SUV at 49th St N and 86th Ave Sunday, according to WTSP.

Matthew Wade, 38, was on southbound 49th St N when he ran a red light at the intersection with 86th Ave and struck a driver making a left turn onto 49th St N from 86th Ave.

First responders transported Wade to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated with law enforcement.

Police believe impairment and speed played a role in the crash.
