
SARASOTA, FL – A motorcyclist died after a collision with a vehicle in Sarasota Sunday night, WTSP reported.
The incident happened at the intersection of South Tamiami Trail and Goldenrod Street at about 8 p.m. According to the Sarasota Police Department, the motorcycle rider was headed north on South Tamiami Trail when he crashed into the side of a car that was attempting to make a left turn onto Goldenrod Street.
The motorcyclist, whose name was not released, died from injuries suffered in the crash.
Police are investigating the accident.
