Motorcyclist killed in crash in Pinellas Park

PINELLAS PARK, FL – A vehicle struck a motorcycle on Saturday evening, killing the motorcyclist.

The accident happened in the intersection at Belcher Road and 114th Avenue at around 7:15 p.m., according to local reporting.

Authorities reported that the motorcyclist was southbound on Belcher Road when an eastbound sedan turned at the intersection and collided with the motorcycle.

The male motorcycle driver was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. He passed away at the hospital.

It is unknown at this time if the other driver sustained injuries.
