Motorcyclist killed in crash with semi in Tampa

TAMPA, FL – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a semi truck on Interstate 275 Thursday morning.

According to Fox13, the motorcycle driver died at the scene of the crash. It happened off Interstate 275 near the Kennedy Boulevard exit at around 2:48 a.m.

Speed appears to be a factor in the crash. The motorcyclist collided with back of the semi truck.

Northbound lanes of the Interstate were closed for approximately three hours.
