Motorcyclist suffers critical injuries in Clearwater crash

CLEARWATER, FL – Two motorcyclists suffered injuries when they were struck by a hit-and-run driver on State Route 590 on Friday night.

According to News Channel 8, the crash occurred on State Route 590 between West Virginia Lane and Thomas Drive at around 9:52 p.m.

Clearwater Police Department shared on Twitter that they think the suspect’s vehicle is a green BMW with front-end damage.

One motorcyclist was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
