DOVER, FL – A man died and a woman was seriously injured in a crash caused by a DUI driver on Saturday evening.
According to 10 Tampa Bay , the crash occurred when the suspected DUI driver Teodoro Avellanda, who was traveling north on McIntosh Road, ran a red stop light at U.S. 92. His car crashed into a second vehicle, killing its 29-year-old male driver and seriously injuring a 28-year-old female passenger.
Florida Highway Patrol arrested Avellanda, who has been charged with DUI manslaughter.
