DADE CITY, FL – Three people were thrown from an SUV when it was struck by a truck on U.S. Highway 98 last Saturday afternoon.
According to 10 Tampa Bay , the fatal accident happened on U.S. Highway 98 at Old Lakeland Highway at around 4 p.m., when the truck turned into the path of the SUV.
Three people were thrown from the SUV when it rolled over. One person died and two sustained critical injuries. None was wearing a seatbelt.
The truck driver was treated for minor injuries.
