
LARGO, FL – State troopers say a pedestrian was critically injured in an accident in Pinellas County last week.
According to a report in the Tampa Bay Newspapers, the incident occurred on 134th Avenue near 121st Street North in Largo on Friday. The Florida Highway Patrol said a 65-year-old man was walking or standing on the road when he was hit by a sedan driven by a 28-year-old Holiday woman.
The pedestrian, a Largo resident, was rushed to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries. Troopers investigating the crash said the man was in the south road despite the fact that there was an adjacent sidewalk.
