
ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Police say a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on a street in St. Petersburg Thursday night, WTSP reports.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash on 66th Street at 34th Avenue North shortly before 10 p.m. The person’s identity has not yet been released.
The driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators, police said. No information was immediately available on what led to the fatal incident.
