MANATEE COUNTY, FL – Authorities are investigating an accident that resulted in the death of a pedestrian near Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport last week, according to WWSB.
The crash happened on U.S. 41 north of Pearl Avenue in Manatee County. The Florida Highway Patrol said a 61-year-old man was in the outside lane of the highway when he was struck and killed by a vehicle. The victim’s identity was not released.
The driver of the vehicle was a 28-year-old woman, state troopers said.
