
HOLIDAY, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol said a pedestrian died in an accident in Holiday late Wednesday night, reports The Suncoast News.
State troopers said the 46-year-old victim was walking eastbound across U.S. 19 near Alt. U.S. 19 when the crash occurred at about 11:21 p.m. The man entered the path of a pickup truck driven by a 54-year-old woman in the inside lane. The pedestrian, a Holiday resident, was struck by the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released. The driver, a woman from Hudson, suffered minor injuries.
