
PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – State troopers responded to an accident that killed a pedestrian in Pinellas County Tuesday, WFLA reports.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a 58-year-old man was struck by an SUV while walking across 54th Avenue North in the area of 26th Street in Lealman.
The victim, a St. Petersburg resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV driver was not injured in the crash. The FHP said the driver involved was a 57-year-old man from Lakewood Ranch.
